Always remember summer time by the seaside growing up as a child in Spain, we always use to go to Oliva (Alicante), and spent what it felt like the entire summer camping right by the sea. Those memories bring me an inmense joy, this painting is an attemp to bring back that characteristic light from the Mediterranean sea, although funnily enough the ref photos were taken in Devon (UK). I guess our dear planet Earth is not as big as we think.
