The heat and light of summer in the le Gers region of France is shown here in the strong bright colours of the fields and trees in this particular area. This is the second picture I have painted of this subject and have enjoyed doing it again. I've visited the area several times while on holiday in France and am always inspired by the atmosphere, sunshine and beauty of the place.
