Original artwork description:
An impressionist oil painting of Île de la Cité (Island of Paris), which is a natural river island in the centre of Paris where the city was originally founded back in the medieval days, and where you can find Notre Dame cathedral.
The painting is sized 40 x 30cm (15.7in x 11.8in) and is on a quality Italian made canvas attached to a wooden board which provides good rigidity. The painting has been left to dry for at least 12 months before two coats of professional varnish were applied over two consecutive days. The painting is unframed.
