Original oil on canvas large abstract landscape painting stretched on a supported wooden frame. Inspired by the shapes and colors of the city. Urban landscape in Summertime. Work on this painting was started in June 2020, it took two years to finally complete. Abstract expressionism. Heavy texture.
The master-quality material has been used. Heavy impasto builds with brushes and pallet knives. Using oil over acrylic technique allows for achieving the brightness of colors and richness of texture. Edges of the painting are covered with archival white linen tape for a clean contemporary look. No need for framing. It is ready to hang. Signed on the back.
