Oh my goodness the smell of these flowers whilst I was painting them! Mock orange, sweet scented roses and stocks... absolutely heady.
These were picked from my garden and they have filled the house with fragrance so beautiful I wanted to capture them.
The painting is a mix of watercolour and emulsion paint. I like the contrast between the watery flowers and the more matt background.
Supplied in a cream/white mount ready for framing.
