Contemporary Impressionism

An evening walk inspired this painting. The lovely blue green and violet hues of the foreground cow parsley and grasses are so evocative of summer. The sun is just sinking behind the distant trees and has a red glowing halo warming the sky. The artist has used think paint and dynamic brush strokes to catch the magic of this scene.

This contemporary painting continues around the edges so there is no need for a frame. Signed on the front, varnished and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
