From broad brushstrokes and spatulaed paint, from transparent glazes and relief-like paint crusts, from sprayed and run paint, Braun creates an abstract picture and at the same time an imaginary landscape. In it, as in a fairy tale, a young blond woman appears, dreamy and illuminated by light from the side. It is evening and she is immersed in the blue tones of her surroundings. The strong colours incorporated into the background, such as orange, yellow and ochre, shine all the more brightly.
