Abstracted impressionist landscape.

I love the end of the day, dusk is very fleeting, and I enjoy the changing shadows and colours. This painting is an attempt to capture that fading light and intense colour in my summer garden.

I use lots of layers of water colour like Golden acrylic paint, and slowly build up the shades and tones that make the painting. I then drip, and spatter paint onto the canvas to create and rich and varied paint surface.

This 100x100cm painting is unframed. it has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
