This is a view I often encounter when out cycling around the lanes of East Kent at the end of a hot dry summer. A group of crows squabble over the insects often leatherjackets to be found amongst the last of the corn. A storm approaches and the sky hole gradually closes to bring the threat of thunder later. Mixed media - oil, acrylic, ink on a sides painted ready to hang box canvas. This is an atmospheric textural impressionistic piece that gives impact to any room in complimentary warm tones of yellow ochre, gold and sky blue.
