This work is inspired by my Mums garden. Always so much life, full of natures artworks. Carnations in bloom with colour and aromas that delight the senses.

Pink carries with it the connotation of grace and elegance, as well as sweetness and poetic romance. Dark pink roses are symbolic of gratitude and appreciation and are a traditional way to say thanks.

Painted with brushes and palette knives for textured mark making and vivid colour.
