Original artwork description:

This latest work, "ON MY ROAD", comes from the concept of self-esteem, something I'm still working on.
It happened several times to compare my work with that of other artists.
Then I realized that it's useless to compare yourself with other professionals because everyone is different, everyone has their own goals to reach, everyone is their own world. We often have a slightly distorted perception of ourselves, with particular attention on the things that are missing and little on those that are there and that make us unique. I want to be like the woman in my painting (the one dressed in black), who looks straight ahead, follows her path without worrying about others.
I want to try to focus on myself and appreciate what I do more.

Sometimes it doesn't take much, just a little love and gratitude towards yourself.

The work is made with a mixed technique, acrylic and paper: the women are painted while I applied a vintage decorative paper on the clothes of the figures behind them.
I used a protective clear gloss varnish.
The painting will be shipped with its certificate of authenticity.

Materials used:

Acrylic and paper
