A large panoramic Scottish landscape inspired by the mountain ridge of Suilven , seen from across the lochan or lake studded moorlands of Assynt near Stac Pollaidh, showing the long rocky ridge of this iconic highland hill.
In this painting I have tried to convey the changeable weather of dramatic light and soft misty rain of the west coast highlands of Scotland, in contrasting purple and yellow tones in an impressionistic style.
