24x30 Oil On Canvas _x000D_ _x000D_ Living under threat of suicide from a person you care about and live with can be a form of control which is impossible to escape. The stress can be unbearable. This painting evoked that disturbing tone the torture of the suicidal person and the torture of viewer looking at such a disturbed person I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
