This abstract gets its title from a song by The Who that I remember well from my youth. I always have music playing whilst I am painting. This painting is almost a monochrome, but the background is a bluey-grey. A wide variety of mark-making techniques were used, and the overall effect is a dynamic painting, full of life. It bears some similarities with the action paintings of Jackson Pollock.
It would look great in a variety of settings, but may suit a modern home or apartment best. It is painted on plywood and has a wooden frame behind it. It is ready to hang.
Acrylic paint brushed over canvas. More acrylic paint added directly to the artwork by a variety of techniques.
