Original artwork description:

Ready to hang, sides are painted.
The painting are hand-signed on the back and painted with quality acrylic painting +oil pastel fixed with UV protection varnish.
Certificate of Authenticity included.

Sublimates arise from my natural need for weaving, layering the fabric of matter, in this case oil pastels and acrylic on canvas.
I like working with oil pastels creating possible references to the fiber art, the interpenetration of a magical network of lines, strokes, similar to threads, fibers, and twine weaves in real weaving matter.
I perceive this series as a continuation and connection with the textile art objects that I have been creating over the years.
However, it is still primarily a combination of abstract painting and drawing, which has always been with me as far as I remember.
On the thematic level, it is poetry arising from my contacts with nature, observations of the sky meetings with the sea, earth in the diversity of light.
Small canvas formats encourage me to short statements. I like to think it's my etudes or haiku.
I greatly appreciate the meditative process of creating these works and I hope that this peace and quiet will be passed on to You, the recipient :)

Materials used:

Acrylic, oil pastels, mat varnish
