The paintings depict my memories after visiting the coast of the village of Bakota, which was flooded in Soviet times for the purpose of building a power plant on the Dniester River. The problem of forced displacement is very close to me, because I am also a displaced person and I have my own tragedy. I haven't seen my home in Donbas for 10 years because of russian aggression, because of russia's war against the Ukrainian people.
For 350 euros you get two paintings: one horizontal and the other vertical, which together make up a wonderful diptych with a peasant landscape. On this trip, I painted with three materials: watercolor, acrylic and oil paints.
This pictures were written on June 7, 2024 during a collective plein air of ukranian artists in village Bakota.
Ukraine is a very picturesque country and it is our duty to preserve its authenticity and prevent its destruction.
Many Ukrainians cannot afford basic things now, but no one will prevent us from dreaming and confidently going towards our dreams...
The watercolor is written on special professional 50% cotton paper with a density of 300g/m
PLEASE NOTE that the photos in the interior are created by artificial intelligence and sometimes the proportions of the pictures do not fully correspond to reality. Pay attention to the actual size of the painting, which is indicated in the description of the work of art.
I will gladly create for you a similar picture of any size, or two vertical ones, it depends on your wishes and interior. Write me a message and I will answer about the price and terms of order fulfillment.
I am very concerned about the environment, so I try to use plastic and new cardboards as little as possible.
IF YOU LIKE ONE OF MY PAINTINGS AND THE PRICE IS NOT ALIGNED WITH YOUR BUDGET, PLEASE MAKE ME AN OFFER OR REACH OUT WITH A DIRECT MESSAGE.
I MAY BE ABLE TO DO SOME ADJUSTMENTS AND HAVE THAT PAINTING HANGING IN YOUR HOME.
