This monotype print explores the relationship between painting and printmaking through the process of transfer. The image is a study of the greek mythology of the Nymph, a mythological spirit of nature imagined as a beautiful maiden inhabiting rivers, woods, or other locations.

In this image the form is showing the Nymph under water and explores the movement of her clothing underwater - yet, in this case the printed image again captures only parts of the image, producing a particular entropic aesthetic, as though she is half-remembered, materialising and slowly fading.
