Sometimes simple colour combinations work best. This is one of my most stripped down paintings, with only red, orange and white used. Acrylic paint was added directly to the canvas and spread with a brush. Other marks were made with a palette knife and a longer spreader.
Perhaps surprisingly this painting looks great on the walls of our Victorian home, but it would be equally at home on the wall of a modern apartment or house.
This painting has a hidden internal wooden frame and is ready to hang.
Acrylic paint brushed over canvas. Areas of paint removed with a palette knife.
