Original artwork description:

This is an abstracted painting of a fairly typical street in the port of Holyhead on Anglesey. I've always been captivated by the different shades of grey of the house fronts, roofs and roads. I'd also recently watched a documentary on the great Irish-born, American based abstract artist, Sean Scully, so was trying to channel his approach in a painting. This is painted in thick impasto oils on a deep edged canvas, and is ready to hang, so may not need framing, depending on personal taste.
