Original artwork description:

Study after Giuseppe Maria Crespi "The Flea". A woman at her morning ablutions in the Baroque period, looking for a flea. I used to go to the Uffizzi Gallery just about every day while I was studying in Florence. As a student from the Accademia Di Belle Arti, I had a free pass and could inspect Piero della Francesco, Uccello etc drawings at first hand from the archives. I liked the concentration of this pose.

Materials used:

Pencil on Fabriano paper
