The artwork is part of the studies of color and tone based on classical painting. In these studies there are several processes involved where each layer is carefully staged but due to the different consistances of mediums that interact and the tools behavior there is an uncontrolled result and beautiful accidents are used as a pretext for the next layer. The final artwork is thus the result of a complex process of decisions where chaotic interventions are kept or discarded and determine the next brush gesture or color mix.
