Studland heath sunset, Dorset
A celebration of winter colours,
Giving the warmth,
Making you feel good,
Taking the last light,
Uplifting and peaceful.

Words and feelings of being here recently. I was inspired by the sky and monochrome silhouette.
Original impressionist watercolour on extra rough textured watercolour paper bockingford 425gsm 200lb.
Wet on wet backwashes were applied using a three colour technique. I mixed all three colours together to make the monochrome shade for the trees, bush and scrapped out the paint for the grasses.
