Pale coral pink and phthalo blue sky,
Refreshing and soothing,
Calming and energising,
I am beach combing for shells and seaweed,

Original impressionist watercolour seascape on rough textured watercolour paper bockingford 300 gsm 160lb.
Sporadic washes were applied wet on wet and leaving areas of white. I used my sable hair brush and a Chinese brush for the markings on the beach. Studland bay is one of my favourite beaches along the Dorset coast. I couldn’t wait to see it again when it’s quieter after the busy Summer season.
