Original artwork description:

The painting "River Stryzhen from Elovshchyna" (60x70 cm), created by Victor Onyshchenko in the spring of 2024, depicts a picturesque corner of the Yelovshchyna forest on the bank of the Strizhen River in Chernihiv. At the center of the composition are tall trees, through which the view of the river is visible. The branches of the trees are not yet fully covered with leaves, allowing a view of the riverbanks and houses on the opposite side.

The changeable spring weather is reflected in the play of light and shadow and the richness of color shades: from warm golden and green tones on the banks to cool blue and gray hues in the water and sky. The trees in the foreground are depicted with energetic, expressive brushstrokes, giving them texture and volume.

This work conveys a sense of freshness and the variability of spring, with its bright colors and vivid contrasts. The painting captures a fleeting moment in nature that is simultaneously filled with tranquility and dynamism.
