Original Pen and Ink and Watercolour drawing of a strolling pigeon painted in November 2015, using watercolour paper, Indian ink, watercolour and a dip pen.
I spent a day around Trafalgar square in central London studying and drawing pigeons and ended up completing a small number of character watercolours all of which will become available on Artfinder over the next few weeks. As with other drawings my favourite aging dip pen catches on the uneven paper surface and adds a splatter to this drawing to which I added watercolour using various techniques.
