Original artwork description:

It was raining and the artist was travelling on a bus along a quiet Oxford Street in the City.
Rain falling on the window caused the image to have raindrops running throughout the image. The figure is dressed in a high vis orange suit pops against the grey drab of London in the rain.
This painting is an observation of weather and how it can make a painting a certain way. The artist has recently been making paintings that focus on the glass between subject and viewer, glass can be seen as a metaphor for the barriers we have all had separating us from one another recently.
It is made with neon acrylics with oil and wax on silk over canvas and is stretched up and ready to hang.
