Hi,
This is the 2nd in the series of semi abstract street scenes. I am always inspired by autumn sunshine and the colours it produces, especially early in the morning or evening when the sun is low.
Here, I have used vertical blurring of the paint to create abstraction and to distil the image down to its basic colour elements. Using deep, vibrant blues and purples in contrast with the warm yellows makes the colours bounce off each other and makes for more drama.
