Walking along a country road that led me to the farmyard of an old disused house, among beautiful elms, I found traces on the ground probably left by metal nets. I was immediately fascinated by their intertwining, they looked like city maps, streets seen from above, and so I decided to detect them by making a cast which then, once brought to the studio, I painted with monochromatic glazes turning towards blue. I therefore wanted to lighten the earth by painting it with the colors of the sky and witness the wonderful unexpected events, if we have attentive eyes like those of children, that a sweet spring walk can offer.
