Artwork description:

From the "Cuts" series:

The canvas is now torn by one or more "tears", which instead of indicating destruction are rather for possible openings towards the elsewhere, towards a third dimension beyond the limits imposed by the flatness of the painting. Having lost any figurative function, the painting becomes a monochromatic surface containing a breach, a passage to a parallel universe, an alternative mental space.

Materials used:

Hahnemuhle German Etching 310gsm canvas
