Original artwork description:

An acrylic plein-air painting sketch a very stormy Bretignolles grand beach. Painting this I felt like Turner, the wind was strong, the sky dark and expectant. I painted this quickly and to be honest in case the rain came and I think it was the better for it. Very much an impressionistic landscape. Can you see how the shape of the tree/bush gives the impression of the wind. I really like the freshness of this and the atmosphere I have created. This was one of two paintings I did on holiday this year. Painted in acrylic on waterford paper.
