Original artwork description:

I used to drive along the A1 between Scotland and England on a regular basis and always marvelled at the view over the Firth of Forth to the Bass Rock. There nearly always seemed to be a clear blue sky reflecting in the sea but there was a couple of occasions when the weather was stormy and I loved the view just as much as in good weather. This painting is the result of that stormy day - moody greys and pinks in the sky reflecting in the sea below but the rain has stopped leaving a clear view of the well known Bass Rock with its lighthouse clinging to the side of the cliff. Not only will this piece of art make a statement in your home it is also a great conversation piece. The artwork is sold unframed but I have also shown a secondary image of the painting in a frame - price can be quoted for the framed work.

Materials used:

stretched canvas and acrylic paint
