Original artwork description:

This painting is part of my series of figurative paintings using my daughter as model and muse. I have again referenced the wonderful Alice in Wonderland which has captivated me ever since I read it as a young girl. The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in particular is such a gloriously chaotic affair that I find myself agreeing with its implication that order and logic restrain imagination and curiosity.
