I painted this at a boatyard in Sandwich, Kent, on a chilly day with a storm approaching. It is a plein air oil painting.
It shows a lovely yacht moored in the foreground, and a stormy sky beyond, giving off that strange light, before the rain arrives.
It measures 12” wide x 10” high unframed, it is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticiy, so it should be a lovely gift for someone who loves sailing and boating.
