Original artwork description:

We walked along the side of Brothers Water - one of the smaller lakes in the Lake District. (and so named following the death of two brothers who fell through the ice to their deaths one Winter). Leaving the lake behind us, the valley opened up. The most beautiful little stone barn was perched at the side of the path. All around were fields and bracken and at the head of the valley the distant blue outlines of the fells beyond.
The painting is on a large canvas and is ready to hang.
