Richard Heys’s Stolen Time series of paintings began when the UK went into lockdown in March 2020. Stolen Time relates to many things: the lockdown as well as the gift of time the artist was given as the whole world was forced to pause. Every day Richard walked to his studio across the fields in the Sussex countryside, observing and being inspired by nature & the quiet that fell upon everything. The images and inspiration from these daily walks found their way into the pieces in this series.
This painting, Stolen Time 179, is framed in a custom-made white frame and is ready to hang.
