I called this work "Stolen Summer" because the russian occupiers stole spring, and now summer, from all the people of Ukraine.
The entire nation is in constant tension due to the danger of an enemy missile arriving at any moment. Odesa's beaches are empty of mines because of the danger of the landing of russian landing forces. People cannot rest and relax normally. In the artwork, I wanted to convey tension and pain on the one hand and hope for the victory of Ukraine on the other.
