In “Stolen Spring” Zakhar has crossed the line towards the abstraction. The artwork is filled with various shapes and forms that turn from one into another and overlap each other, providing a wide field for the viewer’s eyes to discover and wonder around the painting. The object is stolen from the artwork, just like the spring of 2022 was stolen (reference to the name of the painting) from the artist and millions of other Ukrainians by the war, which presence may be noticed in the general mood of the artwork. The mood created by such contradicting feelings as joy and sadness, hope and despair…

The painting is ready to hang. The artwork will be shipped securely packed in a box. Certificate of Authenticity is included.
