In the stillness when there is no outside commotion or chatter, the mind has the opportunity to rest and reflect on life’s wonders and mysteries. When the mind is then stilled further there comes a peace and tranquillity where only the light of pure consciousness exists.
In this respect the water lily could be considered to represent stillness in the world of nature and plant life.
