There are some great Still Life Artists out there. They manage to paint a realistic looking image but with the lusciousness and depth of colour of oil paint. I've tried to emulate a similar style but without great success. My current style seems to be less concerned with a completely realistic image and looks more to a satisfactory composition and colour harmony.
