This painting is the first of a series that sees the protagonist of nature in its color and graphic aspects. Whether they are still lifes or landscapes or trees or other natural subjects, what will be highlighted in these paintings will be what represents my personal artistic research: colors, textures, light.
I painted this vase of roses with the watercolor technique for the transparency of the color mitigated by some brushstrokes of chalk that give the composition that sense of indefiniteness that I was looking for.
