The painting is of pink tulips edged with white in an emerald, cream and ochre mottled jug surrounded by two pomegranates and a lemon. I bought the pomegranates to eat and was so taken with their rich coloured skins that I decided to put them in a still life painting with the tulips and lemon. I eat them later!
