We have an old pear tree in our garden, it was planted by my late father some 40s years ago. The tree doesn't need much care and free of bugs or disease, every years produces delicious and juicy fruits.
In most years we have so much pears we could share with friends and neighbors. even after we gave away most of the pears but we still have plenty left. I would spent my nights making pear jam. Last year, I managed about four dozen large jars and most of them were gave away as gift..
However this year it is a off year for our tree it did not produce much pears, likely the result of the late spring. instead of sharing our pears I thought I would share a painting of it. original transparent watercolor painting on 140lb Fabriano cold press watercolor paper,, 10"x8"
