This spring still life was painted from life using the alla prima technique with oil paints on canvas stretched on cardboard. I like to paint my paintings from nature, as this is the only way to convey natural colors from life. Bluebells are one of my favorite flowers, they remind me of the wild, in the forest or mountains where they often grow.
