This is an original oil painting of a selection of flowers (Chrysanthemums and Daisies) and russet apples, painted in September 2023. I loved studying the contrast in texture between the objects; the delicate petals, the shiny ceramic of the jug, and the soft fabric of the cloth.
Unframed size - 30.4cm (H) x 30.4cm (W)
Additional information: Painted on pan, using high quality michael harding oil paints, and finished with gamvar gloss varnish. Signed on the front, and titled, dated and a list of materials on the back.
