Paying Tribute to Old Masters.
The painting was made in traditional techniques of oil painting, using a multilayer method. It was inspired by masterpiece of famous British still life painter Edward Ladell (1821-1886) .
Edward Ladell and his wife Helen, who, like her husband, was a painter, together developed a very distinct style of still life in the best tradition of Dutch painting. The paintings of Edward and Helen Ladell are filled with rich colors, striking accuracy of the real depiction of still life subjects.
