I sought to reincarnate its timeless beauty, where still life becomes a window through which we may peer into epochs gone by.

Accompanied by a lively kumquat branch, the amphora stands as a sentinel of the past, while the fruit embodies the pulsating vibrancy of the present. I chose oil as the medium to delve deeply into the tangible textures — the amphora's weathered smoothness against the kumquats' plump vitality.
