The Italian grandmother of my husband left us her collection of wonderful hand-painted plates. And I decided to insert these plates into my newest series of modern still-lifes. This medieval lady is the first plate I tried to relocate into my painting. (there will be also others to follow).
I also took advantage of this stunning light catched occasionally falling from my room's window. And I am so grateful for this to God that we finally moved to a new large apartment last year.
This painting is my love and I'm a bit sad to sell it. But that is the way the life goes...
