The Italian grandmother of my husband left us her collection of wonderful hand-painted plates. And I decided to insert these plates into my newest series of modern still-lifes.
This is the second attempt to repaint a hand-painted plate inside a modern still life with the view from above and the back light. Other kitchenware was of great help.

• Ready to Hang. Oil on stretched canvas 12 x 16 inches (30x40 cm), unframed, sides are painted, signed by me.

• This work is unique, this is not a print or other type of copy.

• This work is signed on the front, and comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity.

• Each painting is hand-painted by me, Katia Iourashevich Ricci, using quality artist's oil paints and 100% cotton quality canvases.
