Still life orange is another in what is becoming my favourite style. A sense of realism, yet abstracted with visible brush strokes. The front ledge is done with a palette knife to give texture and a contrast to the orange and background.

Painted in layers, this series is a bit more involved and time consuming to achieve the right look and feel.

The painting will fit in any frame designed for an 8 x 8 inch (20 x 20 cm) as seen in the display photos. Taken with the glass out the 3 mm sealed MDF board is a perfect fit.
