This is an oil on board painting with Kenya as its theme. The background cloth is a Kikoy in black and red, familiar to those with Kenya connections. The tea pot and jug were once offering service in the East African Railway buffet car, they are relics of a former age of travel in that great continent. Kenya tea is one of the best to drink and needs a sturdy pot to brew within.
